Name: Rosemary "Mary" Anderson
Gender: female
Age: 21
Height: 5' 2"
Personality: "Tough as nails" is what Mary prefers to go by. She's tenacious and independent. Mary isn't afraid of hard work or getting dirty. Her belief is that facing trials beside your pokemon instead of behind them will strengthen your bond--and it's more fun for her. She will stay loyal to her friends and family.
But she can also be stubborn and disagreeable. She does believe in most situations her way is best. Teams are not something she enjoys; she believes a team will slow her down--not to mention she isn't fond of the idea of someone telling her what to do. If someone offers her help she will usually continue to refuse it until she's failed several times.
In new settings however Mary can be fairly shy.
Brief History: Rosemary grew up on her fathers ranch in Hoenn. Her dad taught her how to ride and handle many pokemon on the ranch along with roping techniques. Since she was young, she had to endure hard work on the ranch, but she enjoyed it very much. During the summer her father would take Mary and her older brother on "survival" trips which would include camping w/o many supplies, hiking, etc.
At 15 she received Otto from Prof Birch and traveled across Hoenn. Instead of traveling from town to town though, Mary mostly kept to the wilderness. She didn't battle many gyms and had no interest in the Hoenn League.
At 17 Mary traveled the Sinnoh region, repeating similar "survival" behavior, and was even taught how to rock climb. She spent most of her time around and near Mt. Coronet.
Mary traveled to the Unova region at 19, but took it easier this time around due to the more urban region.
Misc: Her older brother's name is Adam and he's 32 years old. Mary can also play guitar (but she can't sing very well).

Name: Otto or "Tank" sometimes
Species: Swampert
Gender: male
Nature: Calm
Characteristic: Good Perseverance
Ability: Torrent
Moveset: Surf, Earthquake, Protect, Ice Beam
Misc: Mary began calling Otto "Tank" every now and then after he evolved into a Swampert during a battle.
Otto is very laid back and prefers to keep any fighting to the battlefield. He will serve as a peacekeeper to most conflicts. Otto cares about Mary a lot and can be very protective of her. He has a huge dislike for Cedric, but puts up with him for Mary. Otto is larger than ordinary Swamperts.
He wears feathers around his neck.

Species: Archeops
Gender: female
Nature: Quirky
Characteristic: Highly Curious
Ability: Defeatist
Moveset: Head Smash, U-Turn, Fly, Dragon Pulse
Misc: Lucy, like Otto, is also larger than most pokemon of her species. She is actually not revived from a fossil at all and is the daughter of two revived Archeops'. She met Mary in Unova. Lucy's behavior can sometimes be a bit odd, but Mary believes it is because her instincts are more suited for a world millions of years ago. Lucy gets excited over small, colorful items and will sometimes steal and hide them in various places. She loves playing with Rufus.
She has a tasseled shawl tied to her neck. (sorry that I called it a "tattered shawl" on my app >n>;; )

Species: Jolteon
Gender: male
Nature: Jolly
Characteristic: Likes to run
Ability: Volt Absorb
Moveset: Dig, Thunderbolt, Wish, Shadowball
Misc: Rufus is actually a son of two Jolteon belonging to Mary's father. Mary received Rufus after she got back from Unova. Unlike the other pokemon, Rufus is smaller than the average Jolteon, not to mention he has "eyebrows" and is bi-eyed. He is very happy-go-lucky and often plays with Lucy. Of all the pokemon, he is the most afraid of Cedric, and will refuse to be in the same room with him alone. He is always outside his pokeball.
He wears beads around his left foreleg.

POKEMON:

Name: Cedric
Species: Chandelure
Gender: male
Nature: Naughty
Characteristic: Thoroughly cunning
Ability: Flame Body
Moveset: Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Psychic
Misc: Cedric is... Well... Not totally sane. He prone to switch in and out of bouts of compassion and bouts of insanity--often his eyes will glow more intensely when this happens. Otto is the only one on the team that isn't scared of him, and this scares Cedric. He has attacked teammates in the past and has attempted to attack Mary. Because of this, Otto is very protective of her. Cedric hates pokeballs and will refuse to be in one for more than 6 hours at a time, making it difficult for Mary to control him. It is unknown if he cares for anything.
Cedric was caught as a fully-evolved Chandelure.
He has an arrowhead tied around his "neck".}================
